Frankie

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 9 months

Frankie is a beautiful 9-month-old girl with a gentle and sweet nature. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people or exploring new surroundings, but once she feels safe and settled, her lovely personality begins to shine through. With a little patience and reassurance, Frankie will continue to grow in confidence every day. She really is a delightful, young and healthy girl, when she was brought into the care of CCR she was experiencing some skin issues but this now very well managed through a diet of high quality food and she is totally symptom free. Frankie would love a calm, caring home where she can settle at her own pace. She is happy to be rehomed with other friendly cats and would make a wonderful companion for an existing feline family member. If you would like to register your interest in lovely little Frankie please get in touch by email: - telling us about yourself, family and working hours and giving us your full address including postcode.

About Frankie

What life with Frankie looks like

Frankie is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Cheshire Cats Rescue in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Frankie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Frankie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Cheshire Cats Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Frankie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Frankie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Cheshire Cats Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Frankie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Frankie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Cheshire Cats Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Frankie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
