Adoption AFTER CONSULTATION WITH VETERINARIAN Date of birth: March 2017 Frodo has no luck in life, abandonment, and failed adoptions have definitely left their mark on him. From a happy, positive, and affectionate dog with a good human connection, he has become a fearful, strongly reacting to external stimuli, needing time to trust and get to know. Frodzio is a small, friendly dog reaching the end of his years. He walks well on a leash, but needs a lot of support from a caregiver during walks. The sound of a distant airplane, the hum of a tram, and all loud, high-pitched noises evoke discomfort in him. He is afraid of loud noises and various types of gunshots. He does not accept other animals. He tries to chase cats, and on walks, he gets very excited by other dogs. He passes by cyclists and pedestrians without issue. Frodzio is an active dog, and he will shine as a companion for long walks. He is very energetic, loves working for treats on various platforms or conquering obstacles, whether small or large. He doesn't mind them at all! This really helps him build his confidence. Frodo is exceptional. A not-so-obvious, small dog, severely hurt by humans, strongly reacting to the world. He needs a little more time, a little more patience, and some encouragement, but it is truly worth it. What kind of home does Frodzio need? A quiet one, respectful of the dog's boundaries, without children and other animals. Ideally, the caregiver would have some experience and be able to read the very subtle signals sent by Froda, but this is not a necessary condition. People without experience who fall in love with Frodek and are ready to encourage him will not be turned away, but they must be prepared for the fact that they will have to do more work, possibly even under the guidance of a trainer. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. An in-person visit is required before and after adoption, a get-acquainted walk, signing the shelter agreement, and paying the adoption fee (80z�). ADOPCJA PO KONSULTACJI Z WETERYNARZEM Data urodzenia: marzec 2017 Frodo nie ma szczęścia w życiu, porzucenie, nieudane adopcje zdecydowanie odcisnęły na nim swoje piętno. Z psa wesołego, pozytywnego, łaknącego kontaktu z człowiekiem, zmienił się w psa lękowego, mocno odbierającego zewnętrzne bodźce, potrzebującego czasu na zaufanie i poznanie. Frodzio jest niewielkim kundelkiem sięgającym do połowy łydki. Na smyczy chodzi wzorowo, natomiast potrzebuje podczas spacerów dużego wsparcia opiekuna. Stresuje go dźwięk przelatującego w oddali samolotu, odgłos tramwaju, wszystkie dziwne, głośne dźwięki wywołują u niego dyskomfort. Boi się burzy i różnego rodzaju wystrzałów. Innych zwierząt nie akceptuje. Koty próbuje pogonić, na mijane psy na spacerze mocno się uruchamia. Przy prawidłowym prowadzeniu rowerzystów i przechodniów mija bez zarzutu. Frodzio jest psem aktywnym, świetnie sprawdzi się jako towarzysz długich wędrówek. Jest bardzo skoczny, lubi pracować za smaczki na różnych podestach czy pokonywać przeszkody, mniejsze lub większe nie mają dla niego znaczenia. Jest w tym świetny! :) Bardzo pomaga mu to przy nabieraniu pewności siebie. Frodo jest wyjątkowy. Niepozorny, niewielki pies, dostatecznie skrzywdzony już przez ludzi, mocno odbierający świat. Potrzebuje z pewnością trochę więcej czasu, więcej cierpliwości i poświęcenia, ale jest to naprawdę warte. Jakiego domu potrzebujecie Frodzio? Na pewno spokojnego, szanującego wyznaczone granice przez psa, bez dzieci i innych zwierząt. Najlepiej jakby przyszły opiekun miał doświadczenie i potrafił czytać czasem minimalne sygnały wysyłane przez Froda, natomiast nie jest to warunek konieczny. Osoby bez doświadczenia, którym Frodek skradnie serducho i będą gotowe na poświęcenie nie będą skreślane, jednak muszą się liczyć z tym, że w ich przypadku będzie musiała być włożona większa praca, niewykluczone, że nawet pod okiem szkoleniowca. Został odrobaczony, odpchlony, zaszczepiony, zachipowany i wykastrowany. Obowiązuje wizyta przed i poadopcyjna, spacer zapoznawczy, podpisanie umowy schroniskowej i uiszczenie opłaty adopcyjnej (80zł). Aby adoptować psa należy mieć smycz i obroże.
