He is an extremely relaxed and friendly tomcat. Scottish Fold cats are considered a breed with welfare concerns due to the genetic defect responsible for their folded ears, which causes the painful cartilage and bone disorder osteochondrodysplasia (OCD). Every prospective adopter must be aware that this breed typically incurs significantly higher veterinary costs and usually has a shorter life expectancy. Close veterinary monitoring is essential to give the cat a chance at a life free from pain. For apartment living, we only rehome our cats to households where there is already another compatible animal or with an additional companion. Outdoor cats are only placed in quiet residential areas.

Jeder Interessent muss sich bewusst sein, dass bei diesen Rassen deutlich höhere Tierarztkosten anfallen und die Lebenserwartung meist geringer ist. Eine engmaschige tierärztliche Kontrolle ist sehr wichtig, damit die Katze die Chance auf ein schmerzfereies Leben hat.In Wohnungshaltung vermitteln wir unsere Katzen nur zu bereits vorhandenen Partnertieren oder mit einem weiteren Kumpel. Freigänger Katzen vermitteln wir nur in ruhige Wohngegenden.
