Fussel & Pünktchen - two seniors looking for a loving home Fussel and Pünktchen came to our shelter as a private donation. At 14 years old, they are already considered seniors, but they have one thing to offer: lots of love. The two are absolute lap cats and actively seek human interaction. Petting, attention, and simply feeling someone nearby are particularly important to Fussel and Pünktchen. They want to be more than just roommates; they want to be an integral part of their humans' daily lives. Fussel has a small health issue. Due to hyperthyroidism, he is permanently dependent on medication. He also needs a dental checkup. Pünktchen currently has no health issues. Of course, with two cats of this age, it's important to be aware that further veterinary checks or treatments may be necessary over time. We are therefore looking for people who consciously choose two older cats and can give them the time, attention, and care they need. Since both are very people-oriented and seek a lot of contact, we would like to place them in a household with at least two people. It is also important to us that their future owners are not away from home all day and have enough time for the two. A home with children is not suitable for Fussel and Pünktchen. Fussel & Pünktchen – zwei Senioren auf der Suche nach einem liebevollen ZuhauseFussel und Pünktchen kamen im Rahmen einer privaten Abgabe zu uns ins Tierheim. Mit ihren 14 Jahren gehören die beiden zwar schon zu den Senioren, haben aber vor allem eines zu vergeben: ganz viel Liebe.Die beiden sind absolute Schmusekatzen und suchen sehr aktiv die Nähe zu uns Menschen. Streicheleinheiten, Aufmerksamkeit und einfach das Gefühl, jemanden in ihrer Nähe zu haben, sind für Fussel und Pünktchen besonders wichtig. Sie möchten nicht nur irgendwo mitwohnen, sondern ein fester Teil des Alltags ihrer Menschen sein.Gesundheitlich bringt Fussel ein kleines Päckchen mit. Aufgrund einer Schilddrüsenüberfunktion ist er dauerhaft auf Medikamente angewiesen. Außerdem steht bei ihm noch eine Zahnsanierung an. Pünktchen hat derzeit keine gesundheitlichen Baustellen. Natürlich sollte man sich bei zwei Katzen in diesem Alter dennoch bewusst sein, dass im Laufe der Zeit weitere tierärztliche Kontrollen oder Behandlungen notwendig werden können.Für Fussel und Pünktchen wünschen wir uns deshalb Menschen, die sich ganz bewusst für zwei ältere Katzen entscheiden und ihnen die Zeit, Nähe und Fürsorge schenken möchten, die sie brauchen.Da beide sehr menschenbezogen sind und viel Kontakt suchen, möchten wir sie in einen Haushalt mit mindestens zwei Personen vermitteln. Uns ist außerdem wichtig, dass ihre zukünftigen Menschen nicht den ganzen Tag außer Haus sind und ausreichend Zeit für die beiden haben.Ein Zuhause mit Kindern kommt für Fussel und Pünktchen nicht infrage.
