Gala is a charming tricolor girl, and her appearance is truly remarkable with her beautiful "salt and pepper" base color and the nice white, black, and golden patches. Round eyes and floppy ears make the cuteness factor of this three-year-old female dog incredibly high, and Gala's appearance promises a genius, loving, and playful character. Gala comes from the household of a woman who once began taking in animals for very good reasons. One dog became two, then ten, and soon 20 or more because none were spayed or neutered... Animal hoarding is a condition closely related to the hoarder syndrome. Without help, those affected rarely manage to free themselves from their suffering. The worst thing about this form of mental disorder is that not only the sick people have to bear the terrible consequences, but also (and especially) the affected animals. Unfortunately, patients often do not ask for help, and so animal protection organizations only become aware of the catastrophic conditions very late. In the overcrowded household of the lady there was a fire - and many of the four-legged animals died a cruel death in the smoke and flames. Gala survived miraculously. The fire department informed Arca Sevilla about the remaining animals, and our friends are now doing everything they can to help the desperate woman and her dogs. Gala has been staying at Arca for more than a month now, and she enjoys the space, the opportunities, playing outside with friends, the secure and regular meals, and the affection from the volunteers. Gala is still somewhat inexperienced; most of her life she spent in a large pack without environmental influences, without contact with the outside world. But our Gala is clever, learns quickly and gladly, and has a spirit of exploration that many puppies would be envious of. Because Gala is such a cheerful sunshine, we are looking for great people for her, but not ones with special qualities. Gala simply needs kind two-legged beings who can explain the world to her with humor and patience and give her the chance to discover her talents. Gala is looking for a cozy dog bed, which she also likes to share with other dogs. She loves long walks, wants to find out quickly what makes ball playing so fun, she wants to run through meadows and through the snow, and enjoy long, comfortable evenings watching TV with her favorite humans. Gala ist ein entzückendes Tricolor-Mädchen, und ihr Äußeres ist wirklich bemerkenswert mit ihrer wunderschönen „Salz und Pfeffer“-Grundfarbe mit den hübschen weißen, schwarzen und goldenen Applikationen. Kulleraugen und Überfallohren machen den Cuteness-Faktor der ca. drei Jahre alten Hündin unerreichbar hoch, und was Galas Erscheinungsbild verspricht, hält auch ihr genialer, liebevoller und verspielter Charakter. Gala stammt aus dem Haushalt einer Frau, die irgendwann einmal begann, Tiere aus sehr guten Gründen bei sich aufzunehmen. Aus einem Hund wurden zwei, dann zehn, und da keiner kastriert war, auch bald 20 und mehr… Animal Hoarding ist eine Erkrankung, die mit dem Messie-Syndrom in enger Verwandtschaft steht. Ohne Hilfe schaffen es die Betroffenen selten, sich aus ihrem Leiden zu befreien. Das Schrecklichste an dieser Form einer psychischen Störung ist, dass nicht nur die kranken Menschen die furchtbaren Konsequenzen zu tragen haben, sondern eben auch (und vor allem) die betroffenen Tiere. Leider schaffen es die Patienten auch oft nicht, um Hilfe zu bitten, und so werden Tierschutzorganisationen erst sehr spät auf die katastrophalen Zustände aufmerksam. Im überfüllten Haushalt der Dame gab es ein Feuer – und viele der Vierbeiner starben einen grausamen Tod im Rauch und in den Flammen. Gala überlebte wie durch ein Wunder. Die Feuerwehr informierte die Arca Sevilla über die verbleibenden Tiere und unsere Freunde tun jetzt alles, um der verzweifelten Frau und ihren Hunden zu helfen. Gala wohnt inzwischen seit etwas mehr als einem Monat in der Arca, und sie genießt den Platz, die Möglichkeiten, draußen mit Freunden zu spielen, die gesicherten und regelmäßigen Mahlzeiten und die Zuwendung durch die Freiwilligen. Gala ist natürlich noch etwas unerfahren, die meiste Zeit ihres Lebens hat sie in einem großen Rudel ohne Umwelteinflüsse, ohne Kontakte nach außen verbracht. Aber unsere Gala ist pfiffig, lernt schnell und gern und hat einen Forschergeist, auf den so mancher Welpe neidisch wäre. Weil Gala so ein fröhlicher Sonnenschein ist, suchen wir zwar tolle Menschen für sie, aber keine, die besondere Eigenschaften mitbringen müssen. Gala braucht einfach nur nette Zweibeiner, die ihr mit Humor und Geduld die Welt erklären und ihr die Chance geben, ihre Talente zu erkennen. Gala sucht ein kuscheliges Körbchen, das sie gern auch mit anderen Hunden teilt. Sie liebt lange Spaziergänge, möchte ganz schnell herausfinden, was Ballspielen so lustig macht, sie möchte über Wiesen und durch den Schnee toben und lange, gemütliche Fernsehabende mit ihren Lieblingsmenschen genießen.
