Galadriel

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

My name is Galadriel and I need my new home! Available: Approximately 16th November 2026 DOB: Approximately 18 months old I was found living in someone’s garden with my two kittens. Thankfully, I’m now safe and looking forward to finding a loving forever home of my own. I’m looking for a home where I’ll receive lots of cuddles, attention and affection. I’d love a garden to explore and enjoy, so outdoor access is a must for me. Most of all, I want humans who have plenty of love to give and who won’t mind having a very affectionate little companion following them around! I’m a real cuddle bug who absolutely loves being picked up, cuddled and kissed, at least three times a day, please! I’m happiest when I have human company, and I’ll happily purr the day away when I’m with my favourite people. If you’re looking for a loving girl who enjoys fuss and attention, I could be the perfect companion for you. I’m ready to find a family who will spoil me with all the cuddles I deserve. Can I live with other cats? Yes Can I live with dogs? No. I’m not fond of dogs, so I need a dog-free home. Can I live with children? Yes Can I live indoors or do I need outdoor access? I need access to the outdoors, ideally with a garden to explore after a suitable settling in period. Minimum Adoption Donation: £100

About Galadriel

What life with Galadriel looks like

Galadriel is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Heronbank Cat Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Galadriel, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Galadriel?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Heronbank Cat Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Galadriel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Galadriel if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Heronbank Cat Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Galadriel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Galadriel isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Heronbank Cat Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Galadriel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
