Gamora

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 5 months

Gamora is a small tuxedo girl with little white toes on her front paws. She is about 5 months old and is the smallest a shyest of her litter. She’s a really sweet kitten and likes being petted but is still a little bit shy sometimes. Gamora plays with her two siblings but prefers to sleep by herself while the other two are much closer and get on better with each other. Gamora would be happy as an only cat and she has no experience with dogs. She is quite shy so the best home would be a quiet adult only indoor home with people who are patient and will give her time to come out of her shell. Gamora loves her food and treats, she eats Felix kitten pouches and whiskas dry kitten food but she is not fussy and is very food motivated.

About Gamora

What life with Gamora looks like

Gamora is a small kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Cats Aid in Dublin.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇮🇪Adopting from Ireland

Irish shelters require a home check (often phone or video) and an adoption contract. Animals are vaccinated, chipped, and registered. Cross-border placements to mainland Europe require the rabies titer test (TRACES system).

Frequently asked

Adopting Gamora, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Gamora?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Cats Aid handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Gamora on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Gamora if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Cats Aid will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Gamora already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Gamora isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Cats Aid early rather than rehoming privately; they know Gamora and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
