GANDALF is not a “fixed” dog. He’s a pup who is just beginning to learn that a hand doesn’t always hurt, and silence can mean peace, not danger. Every new experience is hard for him, and every change is a huge challenge. Fear has accompanied him since the very first days of his life. And yet… GANDALF lives. And he’s asking for a home. He needs a caregiver who is incredibly patient, calm, and aware that working with a dog after such a background is a process – sometimes long, sometimes full of steps backward. But it’s also a chance for something special: seeing how a dog who knew only garbage and fear slowly begins to trust.
