Gappy is a 2-year-old cat. She was brought to us after her owner unfortunately passed away. At first, she didn't want to leave her cage at all; now, however, she doesn't want to go back into it at all. We understand that perfectly—she loves running around our cat enclosure and can easily entertain herself. As far as she’s concerned, it's not always necessary for someone to be home. If there’s a cat flap available, Gappy will happily amuse herself while her human is at work. She’s shy around people and will first need to build a bond of trust before she’ll let you pet her head. She’s certainly not the type to seek out long cuddles. Loud noises, sudden movements, or unexpected visitors still make her nervous. Give her peace and structure, and you’ll provide Gappy with a lovely, calm home where she can gradually gain more confidence in life.

Gappy is een poes van 2 jaar oud. Ze is bij ons gebracht nadat helaas haar eigenaar is overleden. Wilde ze in het begin bij ons niet haar hok uit, inmiddels wil ze vooral niet meer haar hok in. Dat snappen we ook wel, ze rent heerlijk door onze kattenren en kan zichzelf prima vermaken. Wat Gappy betreft hoeft er niet altijd iemand thuis te zijn. Als er een kattenluik aanwezig is vermaakt ze zich wel als de baas aan het werk is. Naar mensen toe is ze verlegen en zal eerst een vertrouwensband moeten opbouwen voordat ze een aai over haar bol komt halen. Een uitgebreide knuffelkat is ze sowieso niet. Harde geluiden, onverwachte bewegingen of bezoek blijft ze spannend vinden. Geef Gappy maar rust en structuur. Wie geeft Gappy een fijn rustig thuis zodat ze meer vertrouwen in het leven zal krijgen?
