Update 06.10.2022: Hello, I'm back to you, Garfield. After a short stay in a new home, I'm now looking for a permanent home... Originally, everything in my home was great. The people were nice and cuddled me as much as I wanted, and I was really relaxed. But... unfortunately, there was also a dog there. I didn't want to befriend the dog at all, I had accepted the cat - but a dog?! That's not happening! To avoid that happening again, I'm now looking for a home where I'm the main character. No other animals - just me, my people, and the couch. I've learned to love the couch and I like to lie on it and get cuddled. Of course, after a short get-to-know-you and settling-in phase. Later, I'd also like to go out, but that will take some time, it should also be a cold winter, so the couch is better. So, to all out there who are looking for a great guy like me: Contact my foster parents and arrange a meet-and-greet. Until soon, your Garfield ————————————————————————————————— Hello, everyone, I'm Garfield. However, I much prefer mice to lasagna, and I really don't know why I'm here... I had a nice territory and had all the cats and people under control there. However, they probably didn't think that was so great, as I might not have been as nice to people and animals. Since I obviously didn't have a home, I was caught and brought here. Therefore, I'm now looking for a new territory with a human connection. However, I'm not a cuddly cat, but rather reserved and can't really gauge people. Therefore, there should be no small children in my new home. Ideally, I'd like a home on a farm or something similar, where I can be a cat all day and, if I want, visit the people. I'm definitely a very good mouse catcher, and with that, I could help my new people keep the barn or shed or whatever "clean." I get along with other cats here, but I'd still rather be the sole ruler of my new territory. Dogs should also not live in my new home. So, to all out there who are looking for a handsome and confident tomcat: Please contact my foster parents so I can get out of here quickly. There are no mice here, and it's pretty boring.

Update 06.10.2022: Hallo, ich bin´s wieder euer Garfield. Nach einem kurzen Ausflug in ein neues Zuhause suche ich nun wieder nach einer endgültigen Bleibe... Eigentlich war in meinem Zuhause alles toll. Die Menschen waren nett und haben mich viel gekuschelt, so lange ich wollte und ich war auch richtig entspannt. Aber... leider wohnte dort auch ein Hund. Mit dem wollte ich mich so gar nicht anfreunden, die Katze habe ich ja noch akzeptiert - aber ein Hund?! Das geht gar nicht! Damit mir das nicht wieder passiert, suche ich nun ein Zuhause, in dem ich komplett die Hauptperson bin. Keine anderen Tiere - nur ich, meine Menschen und die Couch. Diese habe ich nämlich inzwischen lieben gelernt und liege dort sehr gerne und lasse mich kuscheln. Natürlich alles nach einer kurzen Kennenlern- und Eingewöhnungsphase. Später möchte ich dann auch wieder raus, aber das hat noch etwas Zeit, es soll ja auch ein kalter Winter werden, da ist mir die Couch lieber. Also, an alle da draußen, die einen tollen Kerl wie mich suchen: Meldet euch schnell bei meinen Pflegern und macht einen Kennenlern-Termin aus. Allerdings mag ich viel lieber Mäuse als Lasagne und eigentlich weiß ich gar nicht, warum ich hier bin.... Ich hatte ein schönes Revier und alle Katzen und Menschen dort gut im Griff. Allerdings fanden die das wohl nicht so toll, da ich wohl nicht immer so nett zu Mensch und Tier gewesen sein soll. Da ich offensichtlich kein Zuhause hatte, wurde ich eingefangen und hierher gebracht. Daher bin ich nun auf der Suche nach einem neuen Revier mit Menschen-Anschluss. Allerdings bin ich kein Schmusekater, sondern bin eher zurückhaltend und kann den Menschen nicht so richtig einschätzen. Daher sollten auf keinen Fall kleine Kinder in meinem neuen Zuhause leben. Am liebsten wäre mir ein Zuhause auf einem Bauernhof oder Ähnlichem, wo ich den ganzen Tag Katze sein darf und, wenn ich Lust habe, den Menschen mal besuchen kann. Ich bin mit Sicherheit ein sehr guter Mäusefänger und damit könnte ich meinen neuen Menschen helfen, die Scheune oder Schuppen oder was auch immer, "sauber" zu halten. Hier zeige ich mich mit anderen Katzen verträglich, wäre aber trotzdem lieber alleiniger Herrscher über mein neues Revier. Auch Hunde sollten in meinem neuen Zuhause nicht leben. Also, alle Menschen da draußen, die einen hübschen und selbstbewussten Kater suchen: Bitte meldet euch bei meinen Pflegern, damit ich hier schnell raus kann. Hier gibt es nämlich keine Mäuse und es ist ziemlich langweilig hier. Bis bald, Euer Garfield
