He observes his surroundings closely and remains calm when hugged. He loves people and enjoys their company, though he doesn't approach them on his own. Gatsby prefers to play alone and mostly ignores other dogs. He shows no aggressive behavior when it comes to resources and gets along well with his roommate. The Korean animal welfare workers prepare the dogs well for a home. They are house-trained, social, and friendly.
