Georgieis

Siamese · Female · Adult · 6 years

**Georgieis large healthy Seal Point Siamese spayed female who is about 6 years old or younger. She may love a Catio but must not be allowed free access to outside. She can live with a couple of other cats but not dogs. She is sweet but dominant in nature. She is apprehensive of humans as she lived as a feral fending for herself and at least one litter of kittens in a dangerous situation. It may take a while for her to like laps, but she is rapidly gaining the confidence, allowing humans to move around her when she is eating, sleeping and playing and is enjoying living in a house. Her slave will need to be patient and understand her quirky nature, allowing her time to learn the benefits of living close to humans in a safe home. Please call Homing Trustee Niki on for further details.Leave name and contact number if you get the answerphone (this is a landline). Georgie is currently based in Suffolk.Updated 28/3/26

About Georgieis

What life with Georgieis looks like

Georgieis is a large adult siamese cat waiting at The Siamese Cat Welfare Trust in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Georgieis, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Georgieis?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. The Siamese Cat Welfare Trust handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Georgieis on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Georgieis if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — The Siamese Cat Welfare Trust will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Georgieis already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Georgieis isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with The Siamese Cat Welfare Trust early rather than rehoming privately; they know Georgieis and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
