GERD El Gerd arrived at the animal shelter along with his other four brothers, all of them under the nickname of "forest fruits" still not a year old. They lived in an area with difficult access where the neighbors themselves took care of them. Even though it was a place that we would think was idyllic, it was not safe for them to stay there so they arrived at the animal shelter with us. When he arrived, he seemed a bit more sociable with us but soon stepped back and began to show insecurity with us. With time, patience and consistency, he has improved a lot and we are sure that in a home he will become more affectionate and sociable. He was born away from people so he shows a bit of distrust and does not come to ask for caresses, yet he has made great strides and now tolerates our presence and allows us to gently pet him while remaining still, showing he is receptive. He arrived with his brothers and has had no problems with us so far. Now he lives in a cat enclosure with them and other cats he didn't know and has also shown no bad behavior towards them. We think he would be better with other cats that can provide company and security. Two is better than one! Because he is quite shy, when we approached the cat enclosure with dogs he did not come out. If there are dogs at home, they should interact little with the cats and we will have to allow him to escape and hide if he feels harassed by them. He is negative for FIV and FeLV.

Per a més informació clica al botó ADOPTA'M El Gerd va arribar al refugi junt amb els seus altres 4 germans, tots ells sota el sobrenom dels “fruits del bosc” amb encara no un any d’edat. Vivien a una zona amb accés complicat on se’n cuidaven d’ells els mateixos veïns de la zona. Tot i ser a un lloc que pensaríem que era idíl·lic, no era segur per ells continuar allà així que van arribar al refugi amb nosaltres. Quan va arribar es mostrava una mica més sociable amb nosaltres però de seguida va fer enrere i va començarà mostrar-se insegur amb nosaltres. Amb temps, paciència i constància però, ha anat millorant molt i estem segurs de que a una llar es tornarà més carinyós i sociable. 👤 Ha nascut allunyat de les persones per el que es mostra un pel desconfiat i no ve a demanar carícies, tot i així ha anat fent passes de gegant i ja tolera la nostra presència i deixa que l’acaronem delicadament tot i quedar-se quiet es mostra receptiu. ❤️ 🐱 Va arribar amb els seus germans i no ha tingut cap problema en aquest temps amb nosaltres. Ara viu a una gatera amb ells i altres gats que no coneixia de res i tampoc ha mostrat cap mal gest vers ells. Pensem que estaria millor amb altres gats que li puguin aportar companyia i seguretat. 2 sempre és millor que 1! 🐶 Com és bastant tímid, quan ens hem acostat amb gossos a la gatera no ha sortit. Si hi ha gossos a casa caldrà que interactuïn poc amb els gats i haurem de permetre que pugui fugir i amagar-se en cas de que se senti assetjats per ells. 💊 És negatiu en FIV i FeLV.
