Gerico arrived with us from the pound. He is on the cautious side around strangers and will need a gentle and patient adopter. He is uncomfortable around young children. He enjoys walks and does not pull too hard on the leash. He has basic training and is housebroken. At the shelter, he does not destroy his belongings. He is dynamic and will need an active and present family. We do not yet know his compatibility with children. He cannot live with cats, and his interactions with other animals of the same species are case-by-case, contingent upon a proper introduction and supervision. He is not suitable for apartment living. He is leishmaniasis positive and will require daily treatment.

Gerico est arrivé chez nous par le biais de la fourrière. Il est en inconfort avec les jeunes enfants. Il apprécie les balades et ne tire pas trop en laisse. Il a des bases d'éducation et la propreté est acquise. Au refuge il ne détruit pas ses affaires. Dynamique, il lui faudra une famille assez active et présente. Nous ne connaissons pas encore ses ententes avec les enfants. Il n'est pas compatible avec la vie en appartement. Il est positif à la leishmaniose et aura besoin d'un traitement quotidien.
