Gia came to our animal shelter as a found cat. To our surprise, she gave birth to her kitten Novo while she was with us. She cared for the little one lovingly and attentively, and later also took in three foster kittens, whom she raised with just as much care. At first, Gia was rather shy and reserved. However, with a bit of patience, calmness, and attention, she gradually gained trust and developed into a real cuddlebug. With other cats—apart from her own kittens—she has so far shown a neutral attitude. How she will behave toward fellow cats in the long term remains to be seen over time.

Gia kam als Fundkatze zu uns ins Tierheim. Zu unserer Überraschung brachte sie bei uns ihr Kitten Novo zur Welt. Sie kümmerte sich liebevoll und fürsorglich um den Kleinen und nahm später auch drei Kuckuckskinder an, die sie ebenso fürsorglich großzog. Anfangs zeigt sich Gia eher schüchtern und zurückhaltend. Mit etwas Geduld, Ruhe und Aufmerksamkeit fasst sie jedoch Vertrauen und entwickelt sich zu einer richtigen Schmusekatze. Anderen Katzen gegenüber zeigt sie sich – abgesehen von ihren Kitten – bislang neutral. Wie sie sich langfristig mit Artgenossen verhält, wird sich mit der Zeit zeigen.
