adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Ginzou can stay forever! His story: Sometimes life writes stories that make our hearts heavy—but then they also give us hope. This was the case for Honey and her three puppies Lovis, Ginzou, and Jake. Together, they were picked up by dog catchers and brought to the shelter—a situation that is anything but easy for a young dog mom and her babies. But thanks to our dedicated animal welfare workers, they are now safe, cared for, and can finally hope to find a home full of love. Ginzou is the character head of the trio—and quite literally so. His unique face mask and plush black ears make him an unmistakable little guy who immediately captures your heart. Ginzou is just two months old and a typical puppy: alert, playful, curious, and absolutely open-minded. He is the explorer of the group, always ready to test a new toy or joyfully dart after his siblings. His cheerful nature is contagious, and anyone who spends a few minutes with him will easily forget everything around them. He will also stay small like his mom Honey, perhaps a bit bigger. For people who enjoy showing the world to a clever, playful little rascal, Ginzou is an absolute stroke of luck. Like all young dogs, Lovis, Ginzou, and Jake will soon enter puberty—a turbulent but important phase where young dogs test boundaries, can be unsure, and require a lot of guidance, patience, and understanding. For a harmonious coexistence, a loving, positively working education is indispensable. Clear structures, reward-based training, and a quiet, reliable everyday life help them grow into balanced and confident dogs. In December, Ginzou will also be ready for his forever home—microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and with an EU pet passport. He will be rehomed for an adoption fee of 500 Euros. Giving a home to the little Ginzou will give a sensitive treasure the security and love he so desperately needs. Many thanks to Celina! You gave Ginzou his name. Status: 19.11.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank an Celina! Du hast Ginzou seinen Namen geschenkt. About Ginzou

What life with Ginzou looks like

Ginzou is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ginzou, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ginzou?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ginzou on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ginzou if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ginzou already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ginzou isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ginzou and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
