17-04-2019 - Adult male cat, found this morning on the edge of the road Ospedale Nuovo at the junction for Nuoro. Rescued and taken to the clinic, he is in a very serious state of dehydration and hypothermia. His paws are mangled. To say it's a mess is an understatement. It would all be much simpler if it had happened in other parts of Sardinia where there are contracted facilities for strays, but here there is nothing and someone has to take on the cost. You know how hard it is for us who live only on donations, but many times we are their only chance of salvation. We named him Giovanni. He is in intensive care.

17-04-2019 - Gatto maschio adulto, trovato stamattina sul ciglio della strada Ospedale Nuovo al bivio per Nuoro. Soccorso e portato in clinica è in uno stato gravissimo di disidratazione ed ipotermia. Ha le zampa maciullata. Dire che è un delirio è poco. Sarebbe tutto più semplice se fosse capitato in altre zone della Sardegna dove ci sono strutture convenzionate per i randagi, ma da noi non c'è nulla e qualcuno si deve assumere l'onere dei costi. Sapete quanto è dura per noi che viviamo solo di donazioni, ma molte volte siamo la loro unica possibilità di salvezza. Lo abbiamo chiamato Giovanni. E' ricoverato in terapia intensiva.
