adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Glasaz has found a home! His story: 71691 Freiberg a. Neckar. Please all eyes on, he's been waiting since mid-January for you! The sweet guy draws attention with his unique appearance: Small like a dachshund, thick fat paws, fur and face like a border collie. Add to that this super-soft fur. What a golden combination! Glasaz is just 4 months old and is now living comfortably and with much peace at his foster family. Upon arrival, understandably a bit shy and quiet, he warms up day by day and brings joy to the family. Currently, he loves to snuggle and cheer everyone on to play. After that, he finds it easy to relax. The little guy already signals when he needs to go out, you just have to react fast enough. Due to his sweet short legs, we assume he will stay small. He is still a puppy, learning everything, but he has the best prerequisites to become the coolest neighbor dog. Glasaz is looking for people who don't expect anything from him at first and show him how a normal dog life works. He is still a baby and has to learn a lot. The occasional mishap shouldn't be held against him, and Glasaz should always be guided with a positive reinforcement training style. He is already looking forward to his new life with beautiful nature walks, many snuggling hours, and also a visit to the puppy school. In the first year of life, puppies should be as little alone as possible. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the lives of these little rascals upside down. They "forget" much of what they have learned and their ears are on full alert. Therefore, it is especially important in this phase to consistently—but lovingly—educate. And there is also good news: This phase will pass! Our Glasaz is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. He brings his EU pet passport and can be adopted after a positive our area! Would you like to meet the sweet guy? Many thanks Birgit S.! You have given Glasaz his unique name!

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Glasaz hat sein Zuhause gefunden! Seine Geschichte: 71691 Freiberg a. Neckar. Vielen Dank Birgit S.! Du hast Glasaz seinen außergewöhnlichen Namen geschenkt!

About Glasaz

What life with Glasaz looks like

Glasaz is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Glasaz, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Glasaz?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Glasaz on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Glasaz if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Glasaz already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Glasaz isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Glasaz and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
