Gloria

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Gloria - a kitten found on Śniadeckiego Street. The little one uses the litter box. When adopting a kitten, keep in mind that contrary to popular belief, raising such a small animal is not at all easy. We do not recommend adopting kittens into homes with young children. Kittens are just learning how strong their claws and teeth can be, which often results in scratches and cuts. This is the most common reason for returns from adoption. With such young animals, you must be prepared to teach everything from scratch. Kittens are extremely energetic and can destroy furniture, curtains, etc. Remember that a cat can live up to 20 years, so taking a kitten means you will be responsible for it for a very long time. Kittens usually instinctively use the litter box, but remember that there may be cases when you'll have to work on litter training. Keep in mind that kittens are at highest risk due to lack of full vaccinations - they can get sick, and the disease may initially be asymptomatic. Date of birth: ~04/2026 We inform that each animal can be adopted virtually. For more information, please contact us by email ( or through our Facebook profile:) More information about the pet can be obtained by contacting the Shelter office at [phone number]. To adopt a dog, you need to provide ID, leash, and collar. To adopt a cat, you need to provide ID and a carrier. All dogs and cats are chipped, dewormed, vaccinated against infectious diseases. Dogs are also vaccinated against rabies. Adult animals can leave for their new home after being spayed/neutered. Puppies/kittens leave the shelter without surgery, but they have a free sterilization/neutering procedure at an appropriate age. The age of the dog/cat is determined based on dental condition and overall appearance, so it should be treated as an approximate value. ADOPTION IS FREE THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF TRANSPORT - WARSAW, KRAKOW, WROCLAW, POZNAŃ, KATOWICE, ŁÓDŹ, LUBLIN or other cities by agreement. GLORIA - kotka znaleziona na ul. Śniadeckiego. Maluszek korzysta z kuwety. About Gloria

What life with Gloria looks like

Gloria is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Gloria, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Gloria?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Gloria on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Gloria if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Gloria already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Gloria isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Gloria and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
