Adopt GNOCCHI

Jack Russell Terrier · Male · Adult · 5 years

GNOCCHI is a young Jack Russell of about 4 years old, we know nothing about his past because he was found wandering by people who entrusted him to us. He is dynamic and full of life. Always ready for long walks, he also enjoys car trips... as long as he can watch the road! He is a real ball of love, very attached to his humans and in great need of contact. His little weakness? The sofa. But what he loves most of all is being on your lap! A real clingy one, even if he knows how to be alone without causing trouble. He likes having company however. GNOCCHI is looking for exclusivity from his masters: he must be the only animal in the home and live in a family without young children because his energy can be overwhelming. He is reactive towards other dogs and cats. He is currently attending classes to learn how to better manage this reactivity, a work that will have to be continued with his future family. A house with a garden is essential for GNOCCHI, who loves to run and expend energy. His new family will have to help him gain confidence and better manage his emotions, with patience and kindness. Available in La Mézière (35)

About GNOCCHI

What life with GNOCCHI looks like

GNOCCHI is a adult jack russell terrier dog waiting at Moustaches et Compagnie in moustaches et compagnie.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting GNOCCHI, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about GNOCCHI?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Moustaches et Compagnie handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw GNOCCHI on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt GNOCCHI if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Moustaches et Compagnie will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is GNOCCHI already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if GNOCCHI isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Moustaches et Compagnie early rather than rehoming privately; they know GNOCCHI and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
