Hello, I’m Gotik! I ended up at the animal shelter following an official intake procedure, and now I’m looking forward to finding a loving home where I can finally relax and enjoy life. I’m an exceptionally friendly, curious, and laid-back tomcat who loves being right in the middle of everything. I thoroughly enjoy human company and relish every cuddle and cozy moment spent together. In general, I get along well with other cats, but I feel most comfortable as an only cat and would love to have my humans’ attention all to myself. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was suffering from a severe case of feline upper respiratory infection. Although I’m now symptom-free, there’s still a chance that I might occasionally experience another bout of sniffles. Also, I’m missing my left eye—most likely due to a congenital defect. However, this doesn’t hinder me in any way in my daily life. For my new home, I’d love to join a caring family who has plenty of time for me and enjoys spending quality moments with me. Since I feel especially comfortable within my own four walls because of my limited vision, I’m looking for a home where I can live indoors—in an apartment, ideally with a secure balcony—where I can be the center of attention as an only cat. Hallo, ich bin Gotik!Ich kam im Zuge einer behördlichen Abnahme ins Tierheim und wünsche mir nun ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem ich endlich zur Ruhe kommen und mein Leben genießen darf.Ich bin ein ausgesprochen freundlicher, neugieriger und entspannter Kater, der gerne mitten im Geschehen ist. Die Nähe zu Menschen genieße ich sehr und freue mich über jede Streicheleinheit und gemeinsame Kuschelzeit. Mit anderen Katzen komme ich grundsätzlich gut zurecht, allerdings fühle ich mich als Einzelprinz am wohlsten und möchte die Aufmerksamkeit meiner Menschen am liebsten ganz für mich allein haben. Als ich ins Tierheim kam, litt ich unter einem starken Katzenschnupfen. Mittlerweile bin ich zwar symptomfrei, dennoch kann es sein, dass es gelegentlich zu einer erneuten Schnupfenepisode kommt. Außerdem fehlt mir mein linkes Auge – vermutlich handelt es sich dabei um einen angeborenen Defekt. Das schränkt mich im Alltag aber nicht ein.Für mein neues Zuhause wünsche ich mir eine liebevolle Familie, die viel Zeit für mich hat und sich gerne mit mir beschäftigt.
