Grace

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Grace Birthdate: April 1, 2026 Gender: Female Breed: Mixed Weight: Not spayed A special little dog girl is looking for special people. Joy in life doesn't need words. Sometimes, or in Grace's case, no sounds, it's enough to just look into her beautiful brown eyes. With her cheerful gaze, her joyful nature, and her very own little being, Grace is a little dog girl that you just have to love. The life of little Grace was far from carefree. Grace was probably born on April 1, 2026, and found completely alone on the streets of northern Greece with her sister Kelly. The two little dog girls were left to fend for themselves, hungry and scared, far too young to cope without help. Luckily, Grace and Kelly were found in time and came into the care of our animal rights activist, who took them in and lovingly cared for them. And there it quickly became clear how much joy in life the two little dog girls have: Safe and well cared for, Grace and Kelly were happy, curious, and playful like puppies, and enjoyed their new life to the fullest. Kelly has now found her own home and has already started her journey to a new life. Now we sincerely wish that the moment will come soon when Grace can pack her suitcase and travel to her own people. Grace is a cheerful, curious, and playful little dog girl. She loves people, seeks their company, and enjoys attention and affection. She plays, discovers her little world, and approaches people and other animals openly and friendly. Whoever gets to know Grace sees a joyful little dog child who has fun in life. However, Grace experiences her world a bit differently than other dogs, because she is deaf, probably since birth. She doesn't know her world any other way, so it's no problem for her. For her future home, this means that her people should be willing to adapt to the special needs of a deaf dog and learn a different way of communication with her, for example, through visual and hand signals. And then there is someone who has played a very special role in Grace's little life: Samy. Samy is a young cat who also lives with our animal rights activist. After Grace's sister Kelly found her home, Grace and Samy found each other, and the dog and cat became a real little dream team. The two play together, seek each other's company, and spend a lot of time together quite naturally. Whoever experiences them together or sees their videos quickly notices how familiar the two are with each other. Of course, it would be a very special stroke of luck if people were to find each other who want to give Grace and Samy a home together. But we are aware that a joint home is not always possible.

GraceGeburtsdatum: 01.04.2026. Geschlecht: weiblich. Rasse: Mischling.

About Grace

What life with Grace looks like

Grace is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Grace, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Grace?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Grace on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Grace if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Grace already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Grace isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern early rather than rehoming privately; they know Grace and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
