You are looking for a strong-willed partner for extensive forest walks? Great, because our male dog Gru is seeking a small leader with plenty of adventure spirit. Gru is a sporty and clever male dog in one of our foster homes in Rhineland-Palatinate. There on the horse farm, he lives in a pack of dogs, explores the world with joy every day, and can get along well with horses, donkeys, and other animals. To strangers and visitors, Gru is always friendly and tries to get a lot of attention. But Gru has a stubborn streak and tries to push it through. With loving, consistent correction, this trait can be managed well. What is important with him is the willingness to work on a good relationship with him. This assumes that several visits in advance at the foster home are planned. Gru has a strong character and needs people who show him his limits with consistency and make him feel that they lead him, not the other way around. House training and the occasional stay alone are no problem for him, as well as very, very long walks in the forest. He loves them very much. It would be great for Gru to have people who have already realized their life goals and are ready to share their lives with an extraordinary, sporty dog. Gru is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and has an EU pet passport. The travel arrangements for our dogs from Spain are registered with the responsible Spanish and German veterinary offices. Before each transport to Germany, our dogs are examined by a veterinarian for travel readiness and general condition.

Dort auf dem Pferdehof lebt er in einem Hunderudel, erkundet jeden Tag mit Freude die Welt, kann mit Pferden, Eseln und anderen Tieren gut umgehen. Zu Fremden und Besuchern ist Gru immer freundlich und bemüht, viel Aufmerksamkeit zu bekommen. Aber Gru hat einen Dickkopf und den versucht er auch durchzusetzen. Mit liebevoller, konsequenter Korrektur ist diese Eigenschaft gut zu managen. Wichtig bei ihm ist die Bereitschaft, ein gutes Miteinander mit ihm zu erarbeiten. Das setzt voraus, dass man mehrere Besuche vorab auf der Pflegestelle einplant.
