Grzybcia arrived at the foundation from Nowa Biała, lives in a temporary home where she is waiting for adoption. Grzybcia is active and loves to jump everywhere - three paws don't bother her at all. She copes great, and her paw is getting stronger over time. The vet recommended that in her new home there should be steps or chairs to make it easier for her to get on and off high surfaces - jumping down hard from high furniture could put a strain on her paw in the long run. Besides being active and loving to play, she is also a very loving kitten - after eating she always takes a nap, likes to be with us in the same room, sleeps with us, loves to lie on pillows, but is equally happy on a piece of wood - she doesn't need luxuries. She gets along with our cat fairly well - there are no wars, although there is no great love either. It's mainly our cat that approaches her, and Grzybcia is rather distant about it. It's possible that she would feel best as the only cat in the house. She has not yet had contact with dogs or children. We feed her with monoprotein food (our second cat has an allergy). She eats quickly, so we give her portions a little at a time or use a silicone mat - you have to be careful, because if you leave her, Grzybcia can eat even the mat itself. Generally, we don't leave food without supervision, because if something is left, she will eat it. She is very friendly to new people - after two months with us she got used to people coming and going, she always greets us at the door. She loves to watch the street and the sky, hunts every fly and spider. She knows how to use the litter box, even the higher one, although sometimes she needs help burying. She doesn't like to be carried on her hands, but she likes to communicate with us - she meows when she's bored or hungry. She is also very smart - she knows how to sit before eating and for a treat. She loves to use scratchers, including cardboard ones. At the vet, she behaves calmly, without stress - curious and open even there. We are looking for a safe, loving home for Grzybcia that will give her the best care. A condition for adoption is fencing the balcony (if there is one) and securing the most frequently opened windows against falling out. NOTE! Grzybcia przyjechała do fundacji z Nowej Białej, mieszka w domu tymczasowym, gdzie czeka na adopcję. Grzybcia jest aktywna i uwielbia wskakiwać wszędzie – trzy łapy w niczym jej nie przeszkadzają. Radzi sobie świetnie, a jej łapka z czasem coraz bardziej się wzmacnia. Weterynarz zaleciła, żeby w nowym domu były schodki lub krzesła ułatwiające jej wchodzenie i schodzenie z wysokości – zeskakiwanie na twardo z wysokich mebli mogłoby na dłuższą metę obciążać łapę. Poza tym, że jest aktywna i kocha zabawę, jest też bardzo kochanym kotkiem – po jedzeniu zawsze robi sobie drzemkę, lubi być z nami w tym samym pokoju, śpi z nami, uwielbia leżeć na poduszkach, ale równie chętnie na kawałku drewna – nie potrzebuje luksusów. Z naszym kotem dogaduje się w miarę dobrze – nie ma wojen, choć wielkiej miłości też nie. To głównie nasz kot podchodzi do niej, a Grzybcia raczej podchodzi do tego z dystansem. Możliwe, że najlepiej czułaby się jako jedyny kot w domu. Nie miała jeszcze kontaktu z psami ani dziećmi. Karmimy ją karmą monoproteinową (nasz drugi kot ma alergię). Je szybko, więc dajemy jej porcje po trochu lub używamy maty silikonowej – trzeba jednak uważać, bo jeśli się ją zostawi, Grzybcia potrafi zjeść nawet samą matę. Ogólnie nie zostawiamy przy niej jedzenia bez nadzoru, bo jeśli coś zostanie, ona to zje. Do nowych ludzi jest bardzo przyjazna – po dwóch miesiącach u nas przyzwyczaiła się, że ludzie przychodzą i wychodzą, zawsze wita nas przy drzwiach. Kocha oglądać ulicę i niebo, poluje na każdą muchę i pająka. Umie korzystać z kuwety, nawet tej wyższej, choć czasem trzeba jej pomóc zakopać. Nie lubi być noszona na rękach, ale chętnie się z nami komunikuje – miauczy, gdy się nudzi albo jest głodna. Jest też bardzo mądra – umie zrobić siad przed jedzeniem i za smaczek. Bardzo lubi używać drapaków, także tych kartonowych. U weterynarza zachowuje się spokojnie, bez stresu – ciekawska i otwarta nawet tam. Szukamy dla Grzybci niewychodzącego, bezpiecznego i kochającego domu, który otoczy ją najlepszą opieką. Warunkiem adopcji jest osiatkowanie balkonu (jeśli jest) oraz zabezpieczenie najczęściej otwieranych okien przed wypadnięciem kota. UWAGA!
