Gucci

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Adult · 4 years

Gucci is an American Staffordshire born on May 5, 2022. Although she is very young, she already knows what abandonment, loneliness... and fear are. She spent her days shut in a balcony, with almost no contact or affection. Then one day, in a desperate attempt to escape that life, she jumped from a building. She survived, but no one took responsibility. That is how she came to the shelter: alone, scared, but with an enormous desire to live and to receive the love she never had. With people, Gucci is incredibly good and affectionate. She constantly seeks affection, companionship, and a friendly hand. However, she does not get along well with other dogs, so she needs a family who understands her, respects her limits, and offers her a stable and safe environment where she can be herself. Gucci is not a difficult case. She is an unjust one. And she deserves all the love in the world. Requires PPP License

About Gucci

What life with Gucci looks like

Gucci is an adult mixed breed cat dog waiting at Centro de Protección Animal de Parla in Spain.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Gucci, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Gucci?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Centro de Protección Animal de Parla handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Gucci on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Gucci if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Centro de Protección Animal de Parla will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Gucci already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Gucci isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Centro de Protección Animal de Parla early rather than rehoming privately; they know Gucci and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
