A quick breath of fresh air: Bonita, Chase, Ximena, Brave, Varga, Spirit, Salamanca, Gustavo, Lea, and Lalo! 10 siblings, each sweeter than the last, and all have one goal: to find a home! All were rescued from the same place where Ulky and Sophia were also found. Currently, they are living at the public shelter in Bistrita, and there is neither enough space nor enough time to give the gang their due. Therefore, we hope for their early ticket to happiness! Gustavo, our little sweetie, hopes for an early travel arrangement! He is currently about 4 months old and was initially a bit shy. But when you dedicate yourself to him and he realizes that you mean well by him, he warms up cautiously. Gustavo gets along well with his fellow animals. Playing with his siblings is the greatest for him. As a German Shepherd mix, Gustavo is very people-oriented, eager to learn, and clingy. He also takes on the role of the watch dog with great enthusiasm. German Shepherds are among the most loyal, people-oriented dog breeds. Gustavo is a sporty, intelligent dog. He would likely be enthusiastic about various dog sports, such as agility or mantrailing. Sniffing work is generally very popular. Attending a dog training class that works with positive reinforcement is also advisable to give Salamanca the best start in her new life with a human family and to learn the basics of dog ABC. In a dog training class, she can play with her fellow animals under supervision, make positive experiences, and train with her human in a relaxed atmosphere. This is not only fun but also strengthens the bond between dog and human. A prey drive cannot be ruled out. Gustavo is looking for people who don't expect anything from him at first and show him how a normal dog life works. He is still a baby and has a lot to learn. One or two mishaps shouldn't be held against him, and Gustavo should always be guided with a positive training style. He is already looking forward to his new life with nature walks, lots of snuggling, and a visit to puppy school. Puppies should not be left alone as much as possible in their first year of life. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the lives of the little rascals upside down. They "forget" much of what they have learned and their ears are on high alert. Therefore, it is especially important to train consistently but lovingly during this phase. And there is also good news: This phase will pass! Our Gustavo is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Gustavo kann Anfang Oktober in seine Pflegestelle reisen! Seine Geschichte: Bistrita, Rumänien. Einmal kurz Luft holen: Bonita, Chase, Ximena, Brave, Varga, Spirit, Salamanca, Gustavo, Lea und Lalo! 10 Geschwister, eins süßer als das andere und alle haben ein Ziel: Ein Zuhause finden! Alle wurden vom selben Ort gerettet an dem sich auch Ulky und Sophia befanden. Aktuell leben sie im öffentlichen Shelter von Bistrita und hier ist weder genügend Platz noch genügend Zeit um der Rasselbande gerecht zu werden. Daher hoffen wir auf ihr baldiges Ticket ins Glück! Gustavo, unser kleines Zuckerstück, hofft auf eine baldige Ausreise! Er ist aktuell etwa 4 Monate alt und anfangs noch etwas schüchtern. Aber wenn man sich ihm widmet und er merkt, dass man es gut mit ihm meint, taut er vorsichtig auf. Gustavo versteht sich gut mit seinen Artgenossen. Toben mit seinen Geschwistern ist das Größte für ihn. Als Schäfi-Mix ist Gustavo sehr menschenbezogen, lernwillig und anhänglich. Er übernimmt auch gerne die Aufgabe des Wächters. Schäferhunde gehören zu den treuesten, menschenbezogensten Hunderassen. Gustavo ist ein sportlicher, intelligenter Hund. Vermutlich würde er sich für alle möglichen Hundesportarten begeistern lassen, wie z.B. Agility oder Mantrailing. Nasenarbeit ist grundsätzlich sehr beliebt. Auch der Besuch einer mit positiver Verstärkung arbeitenden Hundeschule ist ratsam, um Salamanca einen bestmöglichen Start ins unbekannte neue Leben in einem menschlichen Haushalt und das Lernen des Hunde-ABCs zu ermöglichen. In einer Hundeschule kann sie unter Aufsicht mit Fellkumpels herumtollen, positive Erfahrungen sammeln und gemeinsam mit ihrem Menschen in lockerer Atmosphäre trainieren. Das macht nicht nur Spaß, sondern stärkt auch die Bindung zwischen Hund und Mensch. Ein Jagdtrieb kann nicht ausgeschlossen werden. Gustavo sucht Menschen, die erstmal nichts von ihm erwarten und ihm zeigen, wie ein normales Hundeleben funktioniert. Er ist noch ein Baby und muss noch viel lernen. Das ein oder andere Malheur sollte man ihm nicht übel nehmen und Gustavo stets mit einem positiv verstärkenden Erziehungsstil begleiten. Er freut sich schon auf sein neues Leben mit schönen Spaziergängen in der Natur, vielen Schmusestunden und auch auf einen Besuch in der Welpenschule. Im ersten Lebensjahr sollten Welpen so wenig wie möglich alleine sein. Außerdem steht die eher anstrengende Pubertätszeit bevor. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der kleinen Racker auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Daher ist es in dieser Phase besonders wichtig, konsequent – aber liebevoll – zu erziehen. Und es gibt auch eine gute Nachricht: Auch diese Phase geht vorüber! Unser Gustavo ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Er bringt seinen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 450 Euro in ein neues Leben reisen. Auch über eine Pflegestelle würde er sich sehr freuen.
