Met zijn lieve en kalme karakter maakt hij snel nieuwe vriendjes. Guus is een ondernemende, nieuwsgierige en speelse jongen, die nieuwe ruimtes verkent en eigen maakt. Daar kan hij op z’n tijd zijn energie kwijt met het spelen van diverse speeltjes, alles is interessant. De krabpaal/ton vindt hij super; klimmen, springen en ontdekken wat er verstopt zit. Na zijn energieke speeltijd volgt rust, heerlijk slapen op gekozen plekje of in gezelschap van mensen/katten. Lekker kroelen is ook niet onbelangrijk, Guus geniet hiervan, wat hij duidelijk laat merken door heerlijk te spinnen. Guus is een gezelschapkater: kinderen groot of klein of andere katten zijn geen probleem. Altijd iemand om mee te spelen of stoeien, beter kan niet!
