HADA

American Staffordshire Terrier · Female · Senior · 11 years

Sex: Female - Age: 10 years - Size: Medium - Suitable for city living: Yes - Can live on a floor (without outdoor space): Yes - Suitable with dogs: Yes - Suitable with cats: Yes - Suitable with children: Yes - Daily exercise needs: Moderate - Health: Good - Special needs: No A HADA was picked up by a particular person in Málaga, who desperately needed help by posting her with two photos where she barely appeared. She claimed she was a Podenca. We brought her to Zaragoza, and upon seeing her, we realized she was a crossbreed of P.P.P. (potentially dangerous dog) and that we had been misled. We do not make distinctions; she is PPP and deserves a chance like any other. HADA is a 10-year-old, medium-sized crossbreed of American Staffordshire Terrier. She completely breaks all the bad and erroneous stereotypes of these breeds. Despite arriving with a lot of fear (we don't know her past, but she was likely mistreated or born on the streets), she is now a perfect dog. She gets along well with dogs and cats, as well as with people, whom she constantly asks for affection and play. Today, HADA is an energetic, playful, and happy dog looking for a permanent family. She is seeking adoption in Zaragoza or the rest of Aragon (not for shipping).

Anímate a conocerla! Ya es hora de romper con los prejuicios. Copyright © 2026 ADALA - All Rights Reserved.

About HADA

What life with HADA looks like

HADA is a medium-sized senior american staffordshire terrier dog waiting at ADALA Zaragoza in Zaragoza.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting HADA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about HADA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ADALA Zaragoza handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw HADA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt HADA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ADALA Zaragoza will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is HADA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if HADA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ADALA Zaragoza early rather than rehoming privately; they know HADA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
