adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Hada has found its home! Her story: 84152 Mengkofen. Hada is waiting in a pension and urgently needs a new foster or permanent placement! Hada is only about 30 cm tall, has soft, tri-colored fur, and with her large, dark button eyes and alert expression, she is a particularly pretty little puppy. The playful ears with long hair give her a cheerful look and a special charm. The little one is about two to three years old and looks hopefully into our camera. She seems to sense that her future is now at stake. Our pretty little fairy is initially unsure around unfamiliar people. At first, she wouldn't even wear a collar, but through the loving care and empathy of her foster mom, Hada has made progress every day. Now, Hada runs happily on a leash, is house-trained, and likes to be cuddled and petted. She is friendly and playful with her fellow animals, but despite her small size, she likes to be in charge. However, little fairies make cats out of these fur noses, which can be a dangerous dragon. Therefore, these little furs should not live in the household. We wish very patient and loving adopters for Hada who will give her enough time to settle in and adapt to her new living situation, even though she has already learned a lot in her foster home. Hada will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas with an EU pet passport for her new home. She will be introduced to potential adopters who have already met her in her foster home. A special thank you goes to the anonymous namesake who gave Hada her beautiful and fitting name and thus a personal identity.

Wer möchte Hada in ihrer Pflegestelle kennenlernen?

About Hada

What life with Hada looks like

Hada is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Hada, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Hada?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Hada on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Hada if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Hada already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Hada isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Hada and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
