Adopt Hadżi

Unknown

Meet HADŻI – our wonderful 7 - year-old male in the type of German Shepherd, wonderful from the soul and body. Its appearance, shiny coat and beautiful eyes attract the attention of not one person. But, why is she so cute in a shelter? Why isn't anyone looking for him... Thrown out, lost, we don't know that. But one thing's for sure, it's a perfect dog. His stature can impress - powerful, strong, brave. Fortunately, when a leash is attached, it turns into a gentleman and bestows upon a man its whole weather of spirit. You can say a stick that doesn't leave a man, step by step follows him. It's a really great dog – he loves contact with a man, he's totally gentle. He may seem a little serious, but he can just... He's a volunteer favourite, he's doing very well on the leash - he goes calm and graceful. He likes the company of other dogs, but he likes the insufferable, more subdued ones. He doesn't care about cats. Our beloved subject can become a companion of the family for good and for evil. You just have to give him a chance. Will he get one? Haji was secured in Pakoszówka, Sanok municipality. Welcome to adoption. Its appearance, shiny coat and beautiful eyes attract the attention of not one person. But, why is she so cute in a shelter? About Hadżi

What life with Hadżi looks like

Hadżi is a adult dog waiting at Wesoly Kundelek in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Hadżi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Hadżi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Wesoly Kundelek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Hadżi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Hadżi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Wesoly Kundelek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Hadżi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Hadżi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Wesoly Kundelek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Hadżi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
