Adopt Haiku (& Riddle) available

Mixed Breed Cat · Male · Kitten · 2 months

Hi! We’re Haiku and Riddle! We might have mysterious names... but we’re actually very easy to figure out: we’re fun, we’re cuddly, and we’re ready for our forever home! We’re 10 weeks old and came to the centre when we were days old, with our mum after she was found straying. It was a bit of a wobbly start, but thanks to lots of care (and plenty of good food!), we’ve grown into happy, confident little kittens. Now we’re all about the important kitten business, zooming around at top speed, climbing anything we can reach, and turning every day into an adventure. We love to play, chase, and explore... and we’re very good at making our own entertainment (you may never need to buy toys again). But we’re not all chaos, we’ve got a soft side too. When we’ve tired ourselves out, we love nothing more than curling up together in a cosy little pile and drifting off to sleep. If you’ve got a lap or a blanket, even better. We’ve got lovely temperaments and are growing into friendly, well-rounded boys. We could live with children who will play nicely with us, and we’d likely be fine with a calm, cat-savvy dog. We’ve always had each other, and we make the perfect little team. All we need now is a home where we can keep playing, growing, and being loved. Two kittens, endless curiosity... and a lifetime of cuddles waiting.Could we be your missing little puzzle pieces? About Haiku (& Riddle) available

What life with Haiku (& Riddle) available looks like

Haiku (& Riddle) available is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Haiku (& Riddle) available, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Haiku (& Riddle) available?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. National Animal Welfare Trust handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Haiku (& Riddle) available on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Haiku (& Riddle) available if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — National Animal Welfare Trust will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Haiku (& Riddle) available already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Haiku (& Riddle) available isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with National Animal Welfare Trust early rather than rehoming privately; they know Haiku (& Riddle) available and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
