Harbour

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 2 months

Meet this absolute poppet young kitten named Harbour He is 11 weeks old, and is looking for a loving home that will forever take care of him. He enjoys playing with toys like a little hoodlum and then sleeping it off to prepare for the next round of fun. He's a perfect kitten for a family home as he's playful and loves being handled and cuddled . He is litter trained and won't cause any problems, he just wants love. and fun! He likes being picked up and in typical boisterous kitten style will sometimes do some cheeky nibbles when playing! He is always looking to explore, and loves cuddles He is not picky with food and will eat anything you give him, and if that includes wet food it's gone in a flash! He needs an older companion cat/kitten to spend his days playing with, and womt be rehomed to be an only kitten. He is fit and healthy and ready to go onto his next chapter of life from his current foster home in Stotfold, Herts. If you are interested in him please fill out this form and and note that we are unable to return all enquiries but will prioritise all those who have applied previously and match his requirements

About Harbour

What life with Harbour looks like

Harbour is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Luna Animal Rescue in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Harbour, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Harbour?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Luna Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Harbour on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Harbour if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Luna Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Harbour already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Harbour isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Luna Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Harbour and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
