Harley came to us as a bottle puppy and grew up in a foster home with other dogs and cats. Unfortunately, there wasn't a good match between Harley and his new owner, so he's back with us. Harley has grown into a strong, sturdy fellow who sometimes doesn't know his own strength. In all his enthusiasm to greet you, he can be quite rough and uncouth, so we'd rather not place him with smaller children. He's very friendly and social with people, always loyal to his owner. Harley can live with other dogs, provided the introduction to new dogs is handled properly. He's not the type of dog you can just put in a large group of dogs, that's too many stimuli for him, he needs guidance. He's a good, kind, and loyal dog who will go through fire for his owner! But we're looking for an experienced dog owner for Harley, someone who knows how to handle a dog of his size and caliber, and who wants to work with him and continue his training.

Harley kwam als flessenpup bij ons terecht, en groeide op in een opvanggezin tussen andere honden en katten. Jammer genoeg was er niet zo'n goede match tussen Harley en zijn nieuwe baasje waardoor hij nu weer bij ons is. Harley is uitgegroeid tot een stevige, sterke kerel, die af en toe zijn krachten niet kent. In al zijn enthousiasme om je te willen begroeten kan hij soms nogal bruut en onbehouwen zijn, daarom zouden we hem liever niet bij kleinere kindjes plaatsen. Met mensen is hij heel vriendelijk en sociaal, hij staat altijd trouw aan de zijde van zijn baasje. Harley kan met andere honden samenleven, mits de introductie aan nieuwe honden op een goede manier wordt aangepakt. Hij is niet het type hond dat je zomaar in een grote groep honden kan zetten, dat zijn voor hem teveel prikkels, hij moet hierin begeleid worden. Hij is een goede, lieve en trouwe hond die door een vuur gaat voor zijn baasje! Maar we zoeken voor Harley een ervaren hondenbaasje, die een hond van zijn formaat en kaliber weet aan te pakken, en die met hem aan de slag wil gaan en verder wil werken aan zijn opvoeding.
