Adopt Harley

Male · Adult · 6 years

Harley is a friendly, playful and cuddly 6.5-year-old Lurcher who loves comfort, food, and human companionship. He knows basic commands (sit, down, paw) and responds well to treat-based training. He enjoys exploring, chasing toys, and is relaxed around traffic and in cars. Completely housetrained and crate-trained, he's proven to be an excellent house guest. Harley needs a calm home with secondary school-aged children and above, cannot live with other pets, but would benefit from walking friends. He's a loyal, affectionate companion who loves both home comforts and outdoor adventures.

Harley is a friendly, playful and cuddly boy who loves a snuggly bed, tasty grub, and the company of people he loves. He does enjoy fuss and will happily rest his head in your lap once he gets to know you. He is a clever boy who knows his sit, down, and paw, and he works best when there are tasty treats involved. An eager learner, he enjoys his training sessions and is very clear in showing how he feels—he is a dog who wears his heart on his sleeve! When out and about, Harley enjoys exploring new places and will happily chase toys, even if he has no plans to bring them back. He is relaxed around traffic and travels beautifully in the car, making him an easy-going companion for quiet adventures. He is completely housetrained and also loves snoozing in his crate. Having spent some time in a foster home recently, Harley is proven to be the perfect house-guest. He settles very well in his crate, waits patiently for his food and really loves playing ball in the garden. He made himself at home straight away, and enjoys snoozing on his back with his legs in the air! If you are after a loyal, affectionate companion who loves his home comforts as much as his outdoor adventures, Harley could be your boy. He is a 6.5 year old Lurcher with a big heart and a real zest for life. Harley would prefer to live in a calm home with secondary school children and above. Harley cannot live with other pets or small furries. Harley has made some walking friends here at the centre and would benefit from well-matched friends in his new home, however he would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
