Harold is a 1-year-old black cat with a missing right hind leg, amputated before arriving at the association. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested FIV/FeLV negative, and receives daily medication for anxiety and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Harold is a calm and somewhat fearful but affectionate cat who enjoys cuddles, especially on his soft belly, and will purr contentedly. He has had a difficult life and remains vigilant, retreating to a quiet spot if startled or disturbed by loud noises. Harold has a routine of hiding in a quiet spot for part of the day and coming out for cuddles, especially in the morning and evening. He is not particularly playful but can have fun moments. Like most cats, he prefers open doors, especially in the evening and at night. With three legs, he finds it difficult to jump onto countertops but can climb onto the couch and live a happy, hopping cat life. Harold enjoys human contact but does not like being picked up or approached too quickly; he seeks out cuddles on his own terms. History: Harold was abandoned due to his owner's psychological issues. Ideal placement: Harold needs a calm, loving home with plenty of hiding spots. He can adapt to a small space (at least 30m2). We are unsure about his compatibility with other cats or children, but given his anxiety, we prefer a single-cat placement. Castré, identifié par puce électronique, vacciné et testé Fiv/Felv négatifs, Harold a au quotidien un traitement pour l’anxiété et pour son cœur (cardiomyopathie hypertrophique débutante). Caractère : Harold est un merveilleux petit chat, très calme et plutôt craintif, mais qui raffole de câlins. Harold mène sa petite vie tranquille et viendra vous voir quand il le souhaite pour sa ration de gratouilles, de préférence sur son ventre duveteux et se transformera en machine à ronrons. Il n’a pas eu une vie facile donc il reste sur le qui-vive, et ira se mettre à l’abri si des gestes trop brusques ou des bruits le dérangent. Harold a son petit rythme de croisière, il passe une partie de sa journée caché au calme, et sort pour des câlins, surtout le matin et le soir. Il n’est pas particulièrement joueur, mais peut avoir ses moments ludiques. Comme la majorité des chats, il préfère les portes ouvertes, surtout le soir et la nuit. Avec ses 3 pattes, il est difficile pour lui de sauter sur des comptoirs, mais il arrive à monter sur le canapé, et à faire sa vie mi-chat mi-lapin sautillant. Harold apprécie le contact avec les humains, mais selon ses termes : il n’aime pas être porté, ni qu’on aille vers lui trop brusquement, néanmoins il cherche de lui-même énormément les câlins. Histoire : Abandonné suite à des soucis psychologiques de l’ancienne propriétaire. Placement idéal : Harold a besoin de présence, de calme et de beaucoup d’amour dans un foyer avec plein de cachettes. Il peut tout à fait s’adapter à un petit espace (pas moins de 30m2). Nous ne connaissons pas ses ententes avec les autres chats ou les enfants, mais étant donné que c’est un petit anxieux, nous privilégions un placement seul.
