Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Harry, male, X Berger, born on 13/02/2026Identified: 250 26 96 99 80 03 57 (Non LOF)Brother of 6 puppies Hi, it's me, Harry, strong and brave like the inspector of the same name 🤠I will weigh around 20 to 25 kg when I'm fully grown, but I'm all about tenderness and fur! My story didn't start well. I was just a little guy, lost in nature with my brothers and sisters. Fortunately, a kind gentleman spotted us and called the association. That's how I met Auntie, who changed my life ❤️ Since then, I've become a balanced, confident little guy with solid paws and a light heart 😋As my brother Awen, always well inspired, says, we've had the good fortune to make the right connections ✨Today, I'm a walking bundle of softness. My favorite activity? Snuggling in Auntie's arms for endless sessions of endless scratches. Belly, ears, kisses... I take it all 💛Auntie says I'm a gem.

Harry, mâle, X Berger, né le 13/02/2026Identifié : 250 26 96 99 80 03 57 (Non LOF)Fratrie de 6 chiots Salut, c’est moi, Harry, fort et courageux comme l’inspecteur du même nom 🤠Je pèserai environ entre 20 et 25 kg à l’âge adulte.Mais tout en tendresse et en poils! Mon histoire a mal démarré.

About Harry

What life with Harry looks like

Harry is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Les Truffes du Soleil in France.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Harry, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Harry?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Les Truffes du Soleil handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Harry on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Harry if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Les Truffes du Soleil will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Harry already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Harry isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Les Truffes du Soleil early rather than rehoming privately; they know Harry and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
