Hársfa

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

3 young 2024 May-born black, mixed breed female puppies arrived with the help of the Füzesabonyi Animal Welfare Foundation. For now, the three siblings are settling in quietly next to each other in their new home. We don't know much about their past, but their previous home was not one where they could have lived as family members. One of the female puppies is Hársfa. She is settling in quietly but is friendly. It will take time for her to get used to her new surroundings, and there is still so much for her to learn, as she has never received any training. Upon arrival, her left eye was opalescent, so we took her for a veterinary examination. This could have been a reaction to a previous vaccination, which we treated with a bandage and fully healed. Hársfa and her siblings have already been spayed and received their first vaccinations. We would love for them to be adopted into a family where they can continue to grow and be raised. Hársfa, vaccinated, spayed, adoptable as a family pet.

3 fiatal 2024. májusi születésű fekete, keverék kislány érkezett a Füzesabonyi Állatvédő alapítvány segítségével. About Hársfa

What life with Hársfa looks like

Hársfa is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Previous eye cloudiness (fully healed), needs socialization and basic training

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Hársfa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Hársfa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Hársfa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Hársfa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Hársfa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Hársfa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Hársfa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
