WELCOME HARVEY. ONE VERY HANDSOME STAFFY CROSS THAT IS ALWAYS OVERLOOKED. This handsome Staffy mix is Harvey. Harvey is new into our care on 13th July 2026. He loves people and is very fussy and friendly. Harvey has settled in well at kennels and has proved himself a big foody and cuddly lad. Harvey was due to be put to sleep at the stray kennels. He arrived with another female dog who found a rescue place however Harvey was overlooked and not taken. This gorgeous dog always tries to climb in anyone's car and would love to leave kennels on an adventure. We can tell he is used to travelling or is it that he just loves to leave kennels with a human of any sort?. So sad for Harvey. Harvey was left behind at a Yorkshire stray kennels and became an emergency appeal. He is six years old and very loving. He loves attention and true to his Staffy mix has energy and loads of love to share with people. Harvey is fit and healthy and likes an adventure across the fields. He shows no interest with dogs at kennels however our ideal is one where he will be the apple of your eye as the only man of the house. Staffies are fantastic people dogs and they adore human contact. They are not a breed that can be without homes as their connection to humans is huge. Their hearts are always broken in kennels. Harvey needs a home and sadly receives little interest. WHAT HOME DOES HARVEY NEED? As we say always the Bridesmaid - never the Bride! Handsome Harv is always overlooked and we do not know why! Harvey ideally needs a home as the only dog but apart from that is a loving and happy chap. He adores people, love and human contact but not always a fan of other dogs out on his walks. He is fit and active and six years old which is not old for bull breeds. This boy is super clean in kennels so has obviously been used to home comforts prior to finding himself a lonely unwanted dog. We feel he would best suit a home that love the breed and understand that he may not be perfect with every dog he meets. As for people - he adores them. Someone that has time for Harvey and will not leave him alone all day as a lonely dog would be perfect. We welcome calls to discuss Harvey and to arrange appointments for visits. We are now based in Garforth, Leeds. If you require any more details regarding Harvey please be in touch. We would love to see this handsome boy loved and cherished and back in home comforts. He deserves his happy ever after very soon. All our dogs are fully health checked, vaccinated treated for fleas and worms. They are microchipped and neutered is part of our adoption procedure. We welcome calls of interest and to discuss or answer more questions you many have. If you are planning a holiday then we ask people to only apply for our dogs on your return. We cannot reserve dogs for long periods of time. We are a very hands on charity and help stray dogs left in Yorkshire pounds. Adoption is crucial in order to keep saving lives and keep our rescue going.
