Nach vielen Jahren musste Hazel ihr gewohntes Zuhause verlassen und ist nun auf der Suche nach einer neuen, liebevollen Familie. Hazel ist eine wunderschöne Hündin, etwa 8,5 Jahre alt, ca. 55 cm groß und rund 25 kg schwer – also eine mittelgroße Begleiterin. Trotz ihres Alters ist sie noch aktiv und verspielt. Sie liebt lange Spaziergänge und ausgiebige Ausflüge, bei denen sie sowohl körperlich als auch geistig ausgelastet wird. Genauso genießt sie aber auch ruhige Momente im Garten, wo sie entspannt beobachten oder ein Nickerchen halten kann. Im Alltag zeigt sich Hazel als angenehme Begleiterin: Sie ist stubenrein, läuft gut an der Leine und kennt die Grundkommandos wie „Sitz“, „Platz“ oder „Pfötchen“, die sie mit ein wenig Motivation gerne ausführt. Autofahren kennt sie ebenfalls und steigt problemlos ein und aus. Mit anderen Hunden ist Hazel grundsätzlich verträglich, bevorzugt jedoch ruhige, nicht dominante Artgenossen und geht Konflikten eher aus dem Weg. Katzen kennt sie bereits aus ihrem bisherigen Zuhause, sodass ein Zusammenleben mit einer behutsamen Eingewöhnung gut vorstellbar ist. Kinder hat Hazel zwar kennengelernt, fühlt sich in ihrer Gegenwart jedoch nicht wohl. Daher wünschen wir uns für sie ein Zuhause ohne Kinder. Fremden Menschen begegnet Hazel zunächst mit etwas Misstrauen und braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Hat sie jedoch einmal eine Bindung aufgebaut, zeigt sie sich als sehr liebenswerte und treue Hündin. Für Hazel suchen wir ein ruhiges, möglichst ländliches Zuhause bei Menschen, die ihr mit Geduld, Verständnis und Liebe begegnen. Auch wenn sie bereits vieles kennt und keine junge Hündin mehr ist, bedeutet ein Umzug für sie Stress. Daher braucht sie Menschen, die ihr die Zeit geben, in ihrem neuen Leben in Ruhe anzukommen. Hazel ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt ihren EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr in ihre neue Familie ziehen.
