After many years, Hazel had to leave her familiar home and is now searching for a new, loving family. Hazel is a beautiful female dog, approximately 8.5 years old, about 55 cm tall and around 25 kg in weight – thus a medium-sized companion. Despite her age, she is still active and playful. She loves long walks and extensive outings, where she is both physically and mentally stimulated. She also enjoys quiet moments in the garden, where she can relax and take a nap. In everyday life, Hazel shows herself to be a pleasant companion: she is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” or “shake,” which she performs with a little motivation. She also knows how to ride in a car and gets in and out without any problems. Hazel is generally compatible with other dogs, but prefers quiet, non-dominant fellow animals and tends to avoid conflicts. She has already lived with cats in her previous home, so a coexistence with a gentle introduction is conceivable. Hazel has met children but does not feel comfortable in their presence. Therefore, we are looking for a home without children for her. Hazel initially meets strangers with some mistrust and needs time to build trust. Once she has established a bond, she shows herself to be a very loving and loyal female dog. Ihre Geschichte: Nach vielen Jahren musste Hazel ihr gewohntes Zuhause verlassen und ist nun auf der Suche nach einer neuen, liebevollen Familie. Hazel ist eine wunderschöne Hündin, etwa 8,5 Jahre alt, ca. 55 cm groß und rund 25 kg schwer – also eine mittelgroße Begleiterin. Trotz ihres Alters ist sie noch aktiv und verspielt. Sie liebt lange Spaziergänge und ausgiebige Ausflüge, bei denen sie sowohl körperlich als auch geistig ausgelastet wird. Genauso genießt sie aber auch ruhige Momente im Garten, wo sie entspannt beobachten oder ein Nickerchen halten kann. Im Alltag zeigt sich Hazel als angenehme Begleiterin: Sie ist stubenrein, läuft gut an der Leine und kennt die Grundkommandos wie „Sitz“, „Platz“ oder „Pfötchen“, die sie mit ein wenig Motivation gerne ausführt. Autofahren kennt sie ebenfalls und steigt problemlos ein und aus. Mit anderen Hunden ist Hazel grundsätzlich verträglich, bevorzugt jedoch ruhige, nicht dominante Artgenossen und geht Konflikten eher aus dem Weg.
