Hazel, female Abyssinian for adoption at Raystede Centre, Ringmer

About Hazel

Background: Meet Hazel, a gorgeous single sow. She came to Raystede when her owner sadly passed away. She can be a bit nervous around new people but has started to come out of her shell. She is a very sweet little girl who loves her treats! Ideal home: She will need a large enclosure, full of tasty hay, enrichment and cosy sleeping areas. The minimum requirement of space on one unbroken level will be 10.5 square feet for pair/trio. Children: Hazel would prefer a quieter home without young children. Adults should be the predominant carers and handlers. Other animals: She is looking for a home with an existing female/s and/or neutered male for companionship. They must be kept separate from any other animals in the home. Additional needs: Requires an indoor home. Looking for adopters who can help with her confidence around people and handling. Hazel came to us with a painful stone in her urethra which has now been removed and she is recovering well. Potential owners will need experience in this area in case it reoccurs in the future. If you think you could offer Hazel her forever home, please complete an online application form.
