Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie)

Female · Adult · 5 years

The three charming rabbits—Goldie, Hazel, and Nubia—have found each other and don’t want to be separated under any circumstances. This harmonious trio currently lives in an outdoor enclosure that meets their species-specific needs and is perfectly accustomed to life outdoors. They consist of two females and one neutered male. All three are curious, open-minded, and highly interested in their human caregivers. With a bit of patience, they’ll quickly reveal their friendly and lively personalities. We’re looking for a species-appropriate outdoor home for Goldie, Hazel, and Nubia—with plenty of space for hopping, digging, and exploring—ideally with people who have experience caring for rabbits. Note on rabbit adoption: Before submitting an inquiry, please carefully read our adoption guidelines for small animals. All our rabbits have been examined by a veterinarian and are vaccinated. As a standard practice, fecal examinations have also been conducted. In the case of all bucks, a DVT (Digital Volume Tomography) scan is additionally performed to assess the health of their ears. Hazel has already undergone ear surgery.

Frequently asked

Adopting Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie)?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie) if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof directly what is included and what Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie) still needs.
What happens if Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie) isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof early rather than rehoming privately; they know Hazel (zusammen mit Nubia & Goldie) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
