"Understanding People Sought" Name: Heidi and Simon Gender: female and male, both neutered Tiernr.: 260778 and 261961 BIRTHDATE: October 2024 and September 2023 Zuhause gesucht: secured outdoor space Heidi (short-haired) and Simon (long-haired) are former stray cats. They were secured by an animal welfare association because they lived near a green strip directly next to the autobahn. Some cats had to leave their lives there, so Heidi and Simon could not be returned to that place. Whether the cats were abandoned there a long time ago and had previously lived with people, we can only guess. At our shelter, Heidi and Simon are making good progress and show both curiosity. They take treats from familiar caregivers' hands, and Simon occasionally allows brief touches during feeding. Building trust requires a lot of patience, time, and consistent work, best achieved through positive experiences like treats. For Heidi and Simon, we are urgently seeking a secured outdoor space with people who have experience and do not have expectations of closeness, allowing the cats to settle in at their own pace.

Sept. 2023 Zuhause gesucht: gesicherter Freigangsplatz Heidi (Kurzhaar) und Simon (Langhaar) sind ehemalige Streunerkatzen. Sie wurden vom einem Tierschutzverein gesichert, da sie nahe eines Grünstreifens direkt bei der Autobahn mit anderen lebten. Einige Katzen mussten dort ihr Leben lassen, demnach konnten die 2 nicht mehr retour an diesen Ort. Ob die Katzen vor längerer Zeit dort ausgesetzt worden sind und vorab schon mit Menschen zusammenlebten, können wir nur schwer beantworten. Bei uns machen Heidi und Simon gute Fortschritte und zeigen sich beide neugierig. Bei vertrauten Pflegepersonen nehmen sie Leckerlis aus der Hand, Simon lässt sich beim Füttern in seltenen Momenten auch kurz berühren. Der Vertrauensaufbau erfordert viel Geduld, Zeit und konsequente Arbeit, am besten über positive Erlebnisse wie Leckerlis. Für Heidi und Simon suchen wir unbedingt einen gesicherten Freigangsplatz, bei Menschen mit Erfahrung, die keine Erwartungen an Nähe haben und den Katzen erlauben, in ihrem eigenen Tempo anzukommen.
