Higgins is truly an absolutely lovable cat. He arrived with us in poor condition, but thanks to seamless medical care, his cat flu is finally under control, he has gained weight, and he has recovered from his ordeal. His blood values are good, his X-ray is unremarkable, and his teeth are also in good shape. Nothing stands in the way of this senior cat finding a new home. He uses the litter box dutifully, and he enjoys fresh air safely on a secured balcony and his second chance at life. Although he is initially shy and appreciates a calm environment, he endured the long course of treatment without complaint. By now he enjoys being petted, gives head bumps, and purrs contentedly. He also enjoys regular brushing. He really has a good heart and is utterly charming, and he is slowly beginning to play a little. Certainly, his health should be monitored closely in the future, since he has had cat flu for a very long time and is a carrier of the FIV virus. It is important for Higgins to have a quiet home without children and with a secured balcony.

Higgins ist wirklich ein absolut liebenswürdiger Kater. Er kam in einem schlimmen Zustand bei uns an, doch durch eine nahtlose medizinische Versorgung, ist der Katzenschnupfen nun endlich im Griff, er hat zugenommen und hat sich mittlerweile von den Strapazen erholt, seine Blutwerte sind gut, das Röntgenbild unauffällig, die Zähne ebenfalls gut. Es steht dem Seniorkater also nichts mehr im Wege nochmal ein neues Zuhause zu finden. Er geht brav aufs Katzenklo, genießt gesichert die frische Luft und seine zweite Chance zu leben. Obwohl er anfänglich schüchtern ist und eine ruhige Umgebung schätzt, ließ er - ohne zu murren - den langen Behandlungsmarathon über sich ergehen. Mittlerweile lässt er sich auch gerne streicheln, gibt Köpfchen und schnurrt vergnügt vor sich hin. Regelmäßiges bürsten genießt er ebenfalls. Er hat wirklich ein gutes Herz und ist ganz bezaubernd, langsam fängt er auch an etwas zu spielen. Sicherlich sollte man zukünftig immer ein Auge auf seine Gesundheit legen, da er den Katzenschnupfen bereits sehr lange hatte und ein Träger des FIV Virus ist. Wichtig ist für Higgins ein ruhiges und kinderfreies Zuhause mit einem gesichertem Balkon.
