It is a dog with a character, which needs time to get to know a person well and feel comfortable with them. It allows itself to be picked up when it accepts someone. It likes contact and touch, but on its own terms, so it is very important to respect its boundaries. It is happy to see the caregiver, and when it gets to know someone well and trusts them - it gives its heart, but on its own terms. It can walk on a leash, although it sometimes tends to pull a little, so it will still need calm support in this area. It gets along with other dogs. We are looking for an experienced caregiver for Hipis, preferably a single person, without children, who will provide him with quiet, calm and stable conditions and will be able to respect his character. REQUIRED MEETINGS PRIOR TO ADOPTION PLEASE HAVE YOUR OWN LEASH AND COLLAR The description is written based on observations of the dog in the animal shelter.
