Rhea is a beautiful shepherd dog, a sweet lady about 4 years old. She is currently housed in the open animal shelter of SOS Dogs in Sisterea. There she is not in a cage, but lives outside and can come and go as she pleases. You can see it on the photos, there is grass, there are trees, she has space to wander around. There are doghouses everywhere where she can go if she wants to hide or sleep. She is not alone, she has company from more dogs. Previously, she was in another animal shelter, in a much too small space, where the poor girl just walked around all day. Fortunately, she is now away from there, and she is much better off. But we wish her a much better dog life, she deserves a nice place in a home. She likes to be near the caretakers and often follows them around. She is very affectionate and easily approaches new people and is super sweet. She really has the character of a shepherd, she is alert and protective and will need an owner who wants to work with her. She will certainly go through fire for her owner. She is a loyal four-legged friend who has a lot of love to give. Rhea is still in Romania but can come to the Netherlands soon. If after an intake conversation it turns out you are a match, an appointment can be made to pick her up at our small shelter in Didam. Rhea is The adoption fee is € 390. This is a contribution to the costs such as spaying/neutering, the trip to the Netherlands, European pet passport, chip and vaccinations. Rhea is een mooie herdershond, een lieve dame van ongeveer 4 jaar oud. Ze wordt nu opgevangen in het open asiel van SOS Dogs in Sisterea. Daar zit ze niet in een hok, maar ze leeft buiten en kan gaan en staan waar ze wil. Je ziet het op de foto’s, er is gras, er zijn bomen, ze heeft de ruimte om rond te struinen. Er staan overal hondenhokjes waar ze in kan als ze wil schuilen of slapen. Ze is er niet alleen, ze heeft gezelschap van nog meer honden. Hiervoor zat ze in een ander asiel, in een veel te kleine ruimte, waar de arme meid de hele dag alleen maar rondjes liep. Gelukkig is ze daar weg, en heeft ze het al veel beter. Maar we gunnen haar een nog veel mooier hondenleven, ze verdient een fijne plek bij mensen thuis. Ze is graag bij de verzorgers in de buurt en als het kan volgt ze ze op de voet. Ze is heel aanhankelijk en gaat makkelijk naar nieuwe mensen toe en is superlief. Ze heeft echt het karakter van een herder, ze is waaks en beschermend en zal een baasje nodig hebben die met haar wil werken. Ze zal vast en zeker voor haar baas door het vuur gaan. Ze is een trouwe viervoeter die heel veel liefde te geven heeft. Rhea is nog in Roemenië maar kan binnenkort naar Nederland komen. Als na een intake gesprek blijkt dat jullie een match zijn, dan kan een afspraak gemaakt worden om haar op te halen in onze kleinschalige opvang in Didam. Rhea is gesteriliseerd, gevaccineerd, gechipt en heeft een Europees dierenpaspoort. Het adoptiebedrag is € 390,-.
