This lovely boy is named Melvin. Melvin's estimated birth date is April 2023. He is a large dog and will probably grow a bit more. They were four puppies, three males and one female. Found along a busy road in Romania. Abandoned by the side of the road. The woman who found them has often found dogs in need. Fortunately, she also helped these puppies and asked for help from the Sos Dogs Romania animal shelter. Two lucky ones have already found a nice home. Melvin and Matty are still waiting for a nice home. Melvin, just like the rest of his family, is a great guy. But besides being a great guy, he is incredibly kind and social, just like the rest of his family. He is cheerful, playful and loves attention and cuddles. Playing with the other dogs is also great! Walking was a bit of an adjustment, but it's going pretty well now! His future owners should be aware that he still has things to learn. Of course, this is normal if you're growing up in an animal shelter. Melvin is still in Romania and can come to the Netherlands if an owner is found for him. If you are interested in Melvin, we would appreciate a message with your living and work situation and any experience you have with dogs. If after an intake conversation it turns out you are a match, an appointment can be made to pick him up at our small shelter in Didam. Melvin is The adoption fee is € 390. This is a contribution to the costs such as spaying/neutering, the trip to the Netherlands, European pet passport, chip and vaccinations. Melvin is een prachtige reu met een schofthoogte van ongeveer 65 cm. Zijn geschatte geboortedatum is april 2023. ❤️ Samen met zijn broer Matty en twee andere nestgenootjes werd Melvin achtergelaten langs een drukke weg in Roemenië. 😔 De vrouw die hen vond, kon de pups helaas niet zelf opvangen, maar besloot hen gelukkig wel te helpen. Via SOS Dogs in Roemenië kregen ze een veilige plek in het asiel. Inmiddels is Melvin in Nederland en op zoek naar zijn eigen gouden mandje. Melvin is een echte lieverd. 🥰 Hij is vrolijk, enthousiast maar moet wel even wennen aan nieuwe mensen. Knuffels en aandacht vindt hij heerlijk, en het liefst volgt hij je overal. Lekker rennen over het grote veld of zwemmen in de hondenvijver 💦 zijn zijn favoriete bezigheden. Daarnaast is Melvin speels en houdt hij van stoeien, zowel met mensen als met andere honden. 🐶 Hij loopt netjes aan de riem en geniet van wandelingen. Het is een slimme jongen die graag nieuwe dingen leert. Zijn toekomstige baasjes moeten er wel rekening mee houden dat hij nog niet alles kent en nog wat begeleiding nodig heeft om verder te groeien tot een fantastische huishond.
