Horace is a gentle, sensitive boy who has been growing in confidence since arriving at the centre. He enjoys exploring and sniffing his surroundings, he loves his food and is beginning to seek out fuss and companionship from people he knows and trusts. Horace is looking for a patient, understanding home that can continue building his confidence around everyday experiences, help him develop positive social interactions with other dogs, and gently introduce him to the wider world at his own pace. With time and encouragement, this sweet boy as lots of potential to flourish. Horrace is looking for a home with a secure garden where he can take his time settling in and building confidence in his new surroundings. He will need to be the only dog in the home but would benefit from continuing his socialisation with other dogs out on walks. Horrace cannot live with cats, and any small furries must be kept separate. He could live with sensible, calm children of secondary school age and above. As he can be a flight risk, he will be rehomed with a lead advisory, and any leaving time should be kept to a minimum initially, with time alone built up gradually as he becomes more comfortable in his new home
