Hotdog was handed over by his owners, and therefore the first times at the shelter were very difficult. Not understanding what had happened to him, he became depressed, not wanting to eat or leave his bed. Gradually, he began to accept his new reality and started to trust and show the affectionate and beloved dog that he is. He is very dependent and always seeks human company but can also be calm just enjoying the parties. He loves walking and is very calm and peaceful on the street. However, Hotdog continues to suffer a lot from being kept in a cage. He is looking for a family that understands that adopting is a lifelong commitment.

O Hotdog foi entregue pelos donos e, por isso, os primeiro tempos no abrigo foram muito complicados. Sem perceber o que lhe aconteceu, ficou deprimido sem querer comer ou sair da cama. Aos poucos foi se resignando à sua nova realidade e começou a confiar e a mostrar o cão carinhoso e querido que é. É muito carente e procura sempre companhia humana mas também consegue estar tranquilo simplesmente a apreciar as festas. Adora passear e é muito calmo e tranquilo na rua. No entanto, o Hotdog continua a sofrer muito por viver fechado numa box. Procura uma família que entenda que o compromisso de adoptar é para sempre.
