Update 20.11.2023: Now that I'm old enough, I've moved into the big kitten room with my siblings. At first, I used to hide a lot here, but now I'm starting to play with the other kittens, and it really makes me happy, I promise! I'm still not very friendly towards people, but with some time, that will surely change. In my new home, I would love to be an outdoor cat, so your house should ideally be in a quiet location. Since I get along well with my fellow animals here, I could also move to another cat, but that's not a must. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tada, suddenly I've appeared! Whether you believe it or not, I'm one of the "McDonald Kitten," as we're called here. But now you're probably wondering why I have such a different name. My siblings can all be found on the menu of a well-known fast-food chain, but my name won't be on there. Now, let me tell you how I ended up at the animal shelter and got my name. It all started when my siblings and my mom were reported to the animal shelter by a vigilant person. Shortly after, a large rescue operation began at the McDonald's waste container site. My mom and my four siblings were quickly caught in the trap, but not me. No, I didn't want to leave. I hid for hours until the animal shelter staff were almost falling asleep and went home. I thought I had won, but to my horror, they returned the next night and wanted to take me for good. Believe me when I say I made it difficult for them! Like the big Houdini himself, I kept slipping through small holes in the waste container and delayed my rescue operation until late at night. Eventually, though, I thought, the food at the animal shelter must be better than sharing scraps with the rats. Plus, I could be back with my family. So, I was... I mean, I was caught and brought to the animal shelter. And I think it was worth it! Here, I get extra kitten food, not just my siblings after our move to the big kitten room, but also many other playmates with whom I can play endlessly. I still don't get along with people very well, but that will surely change with time. In my new home, I would like to be an outdoor cat, so your house should ideally be in a quiet location. Additionally, I would like to move to a cat friend from here or to an already existing kitten. So, if you're still interested in an adventurous kitten, feel free to contact the animal shelter!

Update 20.11.2023: Da ich jetzt alt genug bin, bin ich mit meinen Geschwistern zusammen ins große Kittenzimmer gezogen. Nachdem ich mich hier anfänglich viel versteckt habe, fange ich jetzt an, mit den anderen Kitten hier zu spielen. Das macht richtig Freude könnt Ihr mir glauben! Gegenüber Menschen bin ich noch nicht so nett, mit etwas Zeit wird das bestimmt aber noch. In meinem neuen Zuhause würde ich gerne Freigänger werden, daher sollte Euer Haus am besten in verkehrsberuhigter Lage liegen. Da ich mich hier super mit meinen Artgenossen verstehe kann ich auch zu anderen Katzen ziehen, das ist aber kein Muss. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tada, plötzlich bin ich aufgetaucht, ich bin Houdini! Ob ihr glaubt oder nicht, auch ich bin eines der "McDonald Kitten", wie wir hier genannt werden. Jetzt fragt Ihr Euch aber bestimmt, warum ich einen so anderen Namen habe, ich meine, meine Geschwister könnt Ihr alle auf dem Menü von einer bekannten Fast-Food-Kette finden, meinen Namen werdet Ihr aber darauf sicher nicht entdecken. Nun, dann erzähle ich Euch mal, wie ich hier ins Tierheim und zu meinem Namen gekommen bin. Alles fing damit an, dass meine Geschwister und meine Mama von einer aufmerksamen Person an das Tierheim gemeldet wurden. Kurz darauf begann auch die große Einfangaktion hier auf der McDonalds-Müllcontainer-Anlage. Meine Mutter und auch meine vier Geschwister wurden recht schnell mit der Falle gesichert, ich aber nicht, nein ich wollte da nicht wirklich weg. Stundenlang habe ich mich versteckt, solange bis die Mitarbeiter vom Tierheim fast vor Müdigkeit umgefallen sind und nach Hause gefahren sind. Da glaubte ich schon, dass ich gewonnen hätte, tja, zu meinem Schrecken standen sie am nächsten Abend wieder hier und wollten mich nun endgültig mitnehmen. Ihr könnt mir glauben, wenn ich Euch sage, dass ich es ihnen nicht leicht gemacht habe! Wie der große Houdini selber bin ich immer wieder durch kleine Löcher in den Müllcontainer geschlüpft und habe so meine Rettungsaktion bis spät in die Nacht herausgezögert. Letztendlich habe ich dann aber doch nachgedacht, das Futter im Tierheim wird doch bestimmt besser sein als sich hier mit den Ratten die Abfälle zu teilen. Außerdem könnte ich dann wieder bei meiner Familie sein. Also wurde ich ... ich meine, habe ich mich fangen und ins Tierheim bringen lassen. Und ich finde, dass es sich gelohnt hat! Hier habe ich leckeres Futter extra für Kitten bekommen, nicht nur meine Geschwister nach unserem Umzug ins große Kittenzimmer auch noch ganz viele andere Spielgefährten, mit denen ich ohne Ende toben kann. Mit Menschen komme ich immer noch nicht ganz zurecht, das wird mit der Zeit aber bestimmt noch. In meinem neuen Zuhause würde ich gerne Freigängerin werden, daher sollte Euer Haus in verkehrsberuhigter Lage liegen. Außerdem würde ich gerne mit einem Katzenkumpel von hier oder zu einer bereits vorhandenen Jungkatze ausziehen.
