Hubert lebt nun schon lange bei uns im Tierheim. Im Sommer 2021 kam er das erste Mal zu uns. Nach einigen Monaten durfte er in eine Familie ziehen, doch dort zeigte sich schnell, dass er Verhaltensweisen mitbrachte, die seine Menschen nicht auffangen konnten. Also kehrte er schweren Herzens wieder ins Tierheim zurück und wartet seitdem auf genau die richtigen Hände. Bei Hubert ist es wichtig, die Dinge beim Namen zu nennen: Er ist kein einfacher Hund. Fremden Menschen begegnet er misstrauisch und reagiert schnell heftig oft ohne klar erkennbaren Auslöser. Das bedeutet: Kennenlernen und Annäherung sind nur langsam und kontrolliert möglich, immer mit Absicherung über den Maulkorb. Hat er jedoch Vertrauen gefasst, zeigt er eine völlig andere Seite: Er liebt es, mit seinen vertrauten Menschen Zeit zu verbringen, genießt Nähe und lässt sich von ihnen problemlos führen. Bis man jedoch an diesen Punkt kommt, ist Geduld gefragt und absolute Klarheit im Umgang. Für Hubert suchen wir: eine sehr erfahrene Einzelperson ohne Kinder, Katzen oder Kleintiere einen ruhigen Haushalt ohne weitere Hunde (Spaziergänge in einer Hundegruppe sind möglich) Bereitschaft, den Maulkorb im Alltag konsequent einzusetzen Hubert bringt auch viele positive Eigenschaften mit: Er kennt alle Grundkommandos, läuft ordentlich an der Leine, fährt problemlos im Auto mit, bleibt auch mal alleine und ist stubenrein.
